Let’s start the Event Easy Setup. The Event Easy Setup is an interview-style form set that will collect all of the information about your upcoming event. Setup can take from 5 to 60 minutes or more, depending upon how much detail you decide to add to your Event Site.

We can begin with some basic information about your Event.

Please provide a Title for your event. This will be the name that will be prominently displayed on your Something On Event site. You will be able to change this later, if you are not completely happy with your choice right now.

Next, please confirm or enter a Web Address for your site. The title you just entered has been selected as the default, but you have the ability to change it now. Use seven or more lower case characters with no spaces, punctuation, or internationalized characters. This will be the web address that will be used for your prospective attendees to find the site using their web browser address bar, so the easier it is to remember, the better. You cannot change this value, however, if you have your own domain name (i.e. youreventname.yourcompany.com), you will be able to set that later as a web address for this site.
